The pics of lights look very strange but maybe its because the Camaro is torn apart in the front. I have two questions i need verified. Are the lights the exact same as the RS package and you said they are good to go on non RS models like my 2SS?

Well you cant take it back to the dealer after you already bought it. After market parts are great. I got my LS for 25K with IOM stripe package tint spoiler & hertiage wheels. I did not feel like paying another 5-10 K for an RS package.

I agree, the LS is a steal if you can live without the uplevel stereo and fancy stitched seats. And if you want to upgrade from the stock wheels, you save thousands over what the RS package costs by the time you get a 1LT and the RS.

There is definitely a market for this wiring kit.

Same here and I could make my LS my own by installing what I like.
Kinda like it just the way it is so far.

Just read the thread, both questions were answered before you posted.

As long as price is right, this kit is worth it. I have an LS, but when costs start going up, I start thinking about other things I can buy for the car...because in the end, headlights are just headlights...

That said, I'm in for a set at this point.

Also, your Trans AM is the best conversion Ive seen - easily looks factory OEM (at least from the photos shown) and I can say enough how cool I think it looks..

Will it be more cost effective to skip the RS package and order this kit?

Hey guys sorry I havent replied lately we delivered two Trans Am conversions to Chris Leith in Raleigh, NC, so we have been super busy

As far as the kit goes we will be needing someone in the Lincoln, NE area or someone who is willing to drive the distance to have a kit installed on their car. You would receive a free wiring kit, labor, and half price on the headlights.

We are looking at roughly a 2 week turn-around for the wiring harness to be created after the kit is fine tuned and simplified.

The RS headlights will directly replace the Non-RS headlights.

These kits will be cost effective as we are trying to keep the price as affordable as possible. However, the Xenon Headlights do retail from GM for well over $1000 for one headlight.

any further questions just email me at todd@ottobody.com

Just-Like-New rims and tires from the RS package are all over Craigslist for $1,200 to $1,500. I plan to throw a set on my LS this summer...and will probably do the headlights and fog lights as well!

I practically STOLE my brand-new LS for a paltry $18,900...a few grand in upgrades and it will look like I spent $35K
