It is SOOOO easy: mask off and square area, 3-4 light coats, peal off the surrounding area and in between the letters.

The best thing to do is watch a couple of You tube videos and just give it a try.

Plasti dip is probably one of the best products made in terms of customization.

this is the video i watched before doing it. bought my plastidip glossifer from them as well.

I did my g37.

started:

here is a pic of the rear; plastidipped the rear infiniti emblem and the chrome trunk lip spoiler (debadged 'INFINITI' and G37S logos). I did NOT apply glossifer, this is flat black plastidip:

also for anyone considering doing their wheels, i did those as well with them off the car, with glossifer. it didnt turn out nearly as glossy as i thought it would, and to be honest it is nearly impossible to get a perfect-to-the-eye gloss coat on. you can always see where it is thicker or 'glossier' on spots. id recommend trying it with one of those rattle can spray handle attachments, or just keeping the flat black.

two coats on:

finished product:

all in all, i like plastidip for being able to do stuff with it on the car. i ended up taking the grill out all together so i wouldnt spend an hour taping off the radiator and whatnot, but works great on the badges. you dont have to worry about taking off, and then perfectly realigning.

the wheels started coming apart in two days, without hitting them or curbing them. and i felt like if they did hit something, the finish would come off in one big piece. i would recommending having your wheels painted or powdercoated, and skipping the plastidip on wheels.

sorry to thread jack with my g37, just figured any good experience and before/after pics are good to help you make your decision!

Edit:
im no pro, but can answer any questions yall may have on how to do it, etc
