Ignition switch wiring need help.

I am wiring a push button start. it is not a keyless type. i need it to be wired so that i put the key in turn it forward and push the button to start.

Which color wire at the ignition switch do i tap for the accessory power? (so when i turn on the key the button gets power.)

Which color wire at the ignition switch do i tap for the starter? (so when i push the button the car cranks)

Thanks for any help.

Why don't you just start it normally since you're already in the vehicle?
Or use Remote Link to start your vehicle if you're not.

If you have to put in a key for push start then it defeats the purpose of push to start.

Interested in this as well, but only way I would go for something like this is if I could put in the passive keyless entry with keyless push button start like the 2013 Buick loaner I had when I dropped my car at the dealer a few weeks ago. Was pretty sweet

Since it's not a keyless type, you'll only need to turn your key a bit more forward and your car will start!

You've already turned your key. Only 1 more turn and hold will start your car.
No need for a push button.

Ok i understand that you are not interested in doing this, you made your point. If you are not going to help please dont post anymore. I have had this set up in the past on other cars and i like it. I am not doing this to make it easier to start. I like how it looks. Same goes for any mod, some like it some dont. That is why there are thousands of different parts on the market. I understand it is easier to start the car by turning the key one more click, but i didnt ask for an easier way to start the car. I was simply looking for some help with my project! If you dont like it move on.

you can, look to the company advanced keys. they offer a setup.

the most difficult part is "breaking" the lock tumbler so that the steering wheel is unlocked.

OP i dont think you really need to ask the same thing in many different sub-forum topics.

I had to put it in a different topic because i am not interested in everyones opinion on why im doing it. I was just looking for help but apparently no one on here is interested in helping anyone they just want to bash me for what im doing. I said before if you dont like what im doing move on it doesnt affect you!
