Master cylinder purchase help.

Does anyone know where i can purchse a new master cylinder that will go with the Lingenfelter Max-cx ZL1 clutch? the shop is saying i need one but if i let them buy it there going to put an extra high on the price. thanks

Get the part number from them and Google it. That should give you several places to buy it from and a price range. Your shop might not be putting as much markup on the part as you think.

No they willl becouse when I was getting my clutch fixed they tried to charge 1900 to rebuild the old clutch which was a monster clutch when i could have easily just bought a new monster clutch for 800, and when i told them i wanted to get the ZR1 Clutch instead of the monster they told me that theywould have to mark up the price if they bought it which was 2800 dollars. So that's why i asked if any one new of a good place to buy a master cylinder just in case.

Wow, sounds like there trying to bend you over. Only guess is to call Lingenfelter, get a part number from them for whatever they recommend and Google it. That should bring up several places that sell it and what they want for it.
