I am looking for the best coilover set up for my custom build camaro. This is the last step. Any recomendations. Also if you recommend anything more please throw your suggestions. Thanks guys.

I have Pedders V8 Supercar coliovers on my G8. They have separate, independant compression and rebound damping adjustments. At the drag strip, I can set the fronts to have max compression damping and minimum rebound damping so these is less resistance to the front end rising and maximum resistance to it dropping. In the rear, I set the adjustments exactly the opposite. After racing I can set them back to anything between boulevard soft and road race firm.

Check out the Pfadt Drag Race coil overs. They are not repurposed street coilovers like some of the others out there. They have drag race specific spring rates and valving that were developed at the track to maximize performance.

he said Drag and race so I assume he wants the best of both worlds and not a dedicated drag setup.

I would go with Pedders on that.
and yeh the Supercars are pimp but so expensive.

My reply assumed both strip and track use.

I use the Pfadt STREET Coilover package with drag springs on them. My car is a street driver, drives to the track, clicks off some 9-sec passes and then I drive back home. I rarely even touch the shock adjustment, unless I have to make adjustments to support the track traction. Drives real well still with the drag rate springs on the streets. And heck I only have the Gen 1 version, not even the new Featherlight SA's.

Best 60' 1.41 using all Pfadt suspension on a M/T 18" Street Radial

For drag racing, you just can't beat the way the Pfadt drag package will plant the power down. It simply isn't just a specific damping/valving that is needed, but also a spring rate that is tuned for optimal performance. Check this out to see what I mean: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ance+high+tech

But what we need to look at is the end goal is here. We've got some of the best tuned double adjustable coilovers for your car. You can tweak the damping to perform better at the track/strip and still ride nice on the street. So if you just want a street car to go out with and have a blast in, that is probably the best fit

The Best of the Best in Coilovers for the Camaro is the Supercar Coilovers by Pedders.

Some of the fastest Camaro's in the country are running on the Supercar Coilovers.

The third option is the best in class 52mm Remote Reservoir Independent Bound and Rebound Adjustable Supercar Coilovers. The shear mass of the pistons and the volume of oil work to make them silky smooth. The ability to click tune and Game On! Pedders USA, LLC is proud to offer the most advanced coilover application for the 2010 Camaro. These are the SMOOTHEST MOST CONTROLLED coilovers money can buy for 5th Gen. Pedders Supercar coilovers are 52mm monotubes. Our Xa coilovers, which are spectacular in their own right, are sized like most coilovers at 46mm. Basic fluid dynamics tells you that the larger the volume of oil, the smoother the action, control will be. Comparing a 46mm diameter disc for surface area to a 52mm disc we find there is 27% increase in surface area. Couple the 27% greater disc surface area with remote reservoirs the size of Coke or beer cans and the volume of oil is increased by more than half. Couple this HUGE amount of oil with 30 independent bound and 30 independent rebound adjustments and you have race car like control over your 5th Gen suspension. There is nothing better you can buy for your 5th Gen Camaro. Make your Camaro a true Supercar with Pedders Supercar coilovers.

Height adjustment is separate from the coil per-compression adjustment on the Supercars just as it is on the Xa coilovers. Hieght is adjusted by screwing the entire monotube into or out of the lower mount. Adjusting height this way delivers the same jounce travel, the same shock travel at OE height or slammed. Ride quality remains the same!

The shear mass of oil, the diameter of the piston assure you of silky smooth operation. The Supercar coilovers include all of the Xa features and none of the headaches normally associated with remote reservoirs. The Supercar reservoirs are mounted to the coilovers, so Pedders Supercar coilovers install with the same ease as our Xa coilovers. The adjustments are positive clicks with no guess work. Adjustment of the damping is as easy as Click, Tune , Game !

Thanks guys. I already have all BMR suspension parts and the GFORCE 9 rear. So the coilover is my last step.
