Cleaning G5CR intake???

Hello,
i have the G5CR cold air intake and feel like its time to clean it. question is... how? can seem to find anything on cleaning it or a kit to buy to clean it. Anyone have an idea? Guess if not i will try to contact the company.

is it an "oiled" air filter? If yes, then you should just be able to use a standard K&N "recharge" kit from your local auto parts store...

For non-oiled, i think you just want to tap on it a bit and then clean it with the shop vac...

Go to local parts store and get a K&N filter recharge kit. It has instructions or go on YouTube on how to recharge the filter.

I don't know about that particular make, but Airaid sells a bunch of replacement filters.

Measure the diameter of the top (closed end) of the filter, its length, and the size of the hole in the open end. Then match it to one of these- http://www.airaidsales.com/AirAid-Ki...t-Filters.aspx

That way you know you're getting a top quality filter and you can order a cleaning kit while you're at it!
