Anybody Else Go From Truck to Camaro?
I'm stepping out of a Suburban and into a Camaro in a couple months...anybody else do something similar? I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel driving a car after being raised in Suburbans and driving one for the past few years.

I've driven a GMC Sierra since '04, and it took a little time to get used to the differences.
No regrets though!

i drive a 2009 GMC 2500 HD at work during the day. And then i come and step into the Camaro, it is different but you get used to it.
My previous personal was a 2007 Chev Colorado. A smaller truck, but the transition to the Camaro wasn't that hard. Nothing you should be to worried about.

Shouldn't be a problem. My daily driver was a 2500 Silverado 4 door. Wife's truck is an extended cab Toyota Tundra. Took about a week and I was totally comfortable in the Camaro. Side view is fine and the mirrors work great. Just took a little bit to get used to the rear pillars. One caveat though. I travel a lot and I always get stuck with the cheapest rental cars available, so I am used to driving some real duds. I just can't wait to get home to my Camaro. My truck stays parked most of the time now.

I traded in a 2007 F-150 for my Camaro.
Only took a day or two to get used to the difference. My wife drives a Suburban, so I still get to 'feel' the difference. |

I'll be trading in my Jeep Commander for my Camaro when the time comes, but with my wife having an 07 MX5, the Camaro will still feel high as an SUV compared to that!
Can't wait to get my Camaro tho. I am sure I am driving my wife insane! |

Well I'm glad to hear it's an easy transition. The Suburban was my first car and since my parents both drive SUV's, I've never really had to drive a small car for an extended period of time. I'm ready for the change though -- As much as I love my Suburban, I can't wait for to have something sporty for once!

Dude i was driving a 2000 ford ranger and got in this and was fine. Its like a bike just lower and alot faster you get used to it. Just TAKE it easy theres a lot of power in these cars and will surprise you. When my dad drove my SS he was caught off guard and that man has driven some fast cars. Just like getting into any car it takes time. Glad to hear im not the only one going from a truck which a ranger isnt much of one but still lol. Enjoy the car i know i do.
