This might be a stupid question, but...
What the heck are the clear decal looking doodads that are below the bottom corner of the door frames? Do all Camaros have these?
Not that they are hurting anything, but they din't seem to be serving much purpose.

I'm almost positive those are just for shipping purposes for protection and you can take them off.

Hmmm...they certainly don't peel off easily. I suppose I could just leave them till they start looking ugly.

I have those and other white patches on the underside. They are starting to get ugly.

The first 11 I drove (brand new) I noticed them sorta peeling with a crack in them. The 11 I purchased (2,900 miles, now 11,000), they are so smooth and contoured to the body I actually had to look closely to tell they were there. As far as purpose, beats me.

Always assumed it was a chip guard but I wasn't sure either. I notice it every time I wipe my car down, it sticks out to me like a sore thumb.

Yeah, it's starting to build up a bit of dirty junk in the part that's not down completely and is easy to see on my white car. Always wondered what they were for.

Mine has them, I think in more than 1 place. No harm leaving them there, so I left them on.

They are chip guards, like a clear bra ... My Z even has them under the door handles ...

Had had the car three days, and the wife said I dont know how to tell you this, but you have a crack in your car. I looked and was pissed. My brand new car had a defect. Later that day I noticed the same crack on the other side. Was I ever relieved that it was only a clear protector. So was the wife....
