Creature comforts....its a pretty long list that includes a gauge package, HUD, leather seats and other things. Some one with a 2SS will answer this better.

just get the 2ss its better and worth the money. there are so many people that get the 1ss and try to make it a 2ss. they end up spending almost the same and much more of there time. and time is money

The biggest 2SS add is the HUD - Heads up display!

I'm not always a fan of the upsell trims, but the 1SS to 2SS is definitely worth it.

That may be true, and depending on what you want your car for, the 2SS option is also the same cost as the 1LE option. Your car your choice, but the performance trumped the comforts for us. Good luck with your car.

Heated seats for a summer car, with learher I really dont care to slide around in. Also gauges that are mostly on my dic or eye level however the HUD my be the only cool thing with the 2SS given the year.

A 2011? Quick looking here. Gauge cluster, Mirrors heated auto dimming etc. Seats leather, heated. Universal Home Remote. HUD. Standard Boston Acoustics. Bluetooth. Steering wheel-mounted audio controls. USB port. Convenience and Connectivity Package: remote start for A6 is part of that package. Standard tonneau cover (convertible only).
This info is from quickly looking at the 2011 pamphlet that the dealerships give out.

Leather seats, console gauges, HUD, USB and maybe a couple other things.

For lots it's the best way to go, but all I wanted from it was leather and gauges. I put those in for $700. I absolutely did not want the electronics as I knew I would have this car a long time and did not want the 21st century version of the 8 track in it.

Other then the HUD, all options in the 2SS are useless on a performance level.
