New brakes at 28k miles??

Went in today to get 2 new tires and the guy said I'll need new front brakes soon. Is that normal?? 28k miles ??

guess the performance brakes are like the performance tires we have.you don't get a lot of use out of them.

Brake wear is equal parts driving style and hardware. The harder you drive, the shorter the life.

Depends on how hard you are on your brakes. Your driving style is the main factor.

wow...heavy brake foot, eh? I'm at 40 and starting to feel fade. Mix of highway and some hard track driving. Managed to get the P-Zeros this far too...(but I'm looking more like slicks in the back....)

yeah, well...like I said...the backs are pretty close to slicks. I've hit the track maybe 5-6times; 6-10 runs each....plenty of burnouts to warm up....
I am gentle around town and the corners for daily driving; but more aggressive at the track; only a couple times or short course....
