Wish they had offered a hard-top convertible. Don't know if it would have worked as far as storage space, but it isn't like we would be giving up a cave of a trunk to begin with. It does look better than expected with the top down, though. I'll not part with my coup, though, unless by circumstances out of my control.

While a hard top convertible would be cool, it'd simply add more weight to the Camaro, which some people already feel is a bit too heavy. The weight would also be added to the worst point possible - up at the car's highest point.

I am most certainly not a vert guy and would never buy 1. That being said, I think it looks nice and hope the vert people are happy with it.

Convertibles are fun, no question. It looks good. Now after experiencing the joys of a true roadster in an S2000.... I'm not so sold on this car due to weight but then again true story, the visibility gain with the top down would make the car a ton of fun. Honestly, now you would be able to make lane changes without too much drama on the highway.

I intentionally had wanted to get the convertible version of this car but based on the driving dynamics, I think this car is flat out a better vehicle in coupe trim imo.

All I can say is frieken finally some decent footage of something closer to what we actually get.

I am hoping since they will have had a couple extra years to work out the kinks that the vert will go off without a hitch.

Hmmm.... I wonder if you can take the quarter windows and window regulators and cut up the coupe so the quarter windows would wind down??

Oh that structural issue???

I know.. unless you have a full cage the B-pillar is needed... just dreaming with my eyes open.

Personally I like the lines... not quite as sexy as the reverse mohawk but I could find room in my garage for one. Easy to spot a convertible mule... but those sneaky Z28 mules are going to be harder to spot.

I like the way it looks with the top down. but something about that top up just makes my skin crawl.

Don't like the brown top and they should have done a hard top. The trunk is big enough to hide the hard top... just my 2cents tho
