Well, back in December I wrecked my truck. The insurance company would not total it as it was only about $14k in damage so it was repaired, and of course, the value of it dramatically dropped. So, i decided to opt out of the 1LE for now until I can catch up on this truck and owe what its worth at the least.

I told the salesmen to cancel the order about a month ago. He said, sure no problem. Well, today we got a shipment in of about 6 camaro's and I saw a AGM on there with the NPP (I could only see it from behind at the moment I got a glance at it). I didnt think much of it. About an hr later the salesmen comes down ( I work in parts at the dealership) and says "Hey, your Camaro is here." At that moment Im thinking, what an asshole ordering the car after I told him not to and come down here and try to sell it to me. So, I walk out there with him to look at it... NPP is there, Recaro's arent there, RS package, BA system............................... BUT NO 1LE PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE !@#$% I looked at the salesmen and I said how the $hit can you not select the 1LE package when you ordered it? He said "There's no such thing as a 1LE."

what a phucktard...

So in a way I am glad I am not in the position to pull the trigger on it just yet.

I didn't know you could order Recaro seats in a Camaro SS??? I guess you learn something every day.

Is it possible there's a Chevy Camaro salesman that doesn't know about the 1LE package? Oh, well...live and learn!

I bet a majority of the salesmen don't know about a 1LE. They aren't gearheads with any actual car knowledge. Just a suit trying to make a buck.

What I don't understand is that you didn't already have a track on this car and already know it was ordered without 1LE.

I'd have had a printout of the dealer order as soon as it was available to print and follow that car's progress. NEVER trust the salesman's word if it's not on paper. It may have been a slip up somewhere that was overlooked, but you must train the sales crew sometimes. Remember you are the one that has to live with the car. They just see it as another sales figure.

You can order the Recaros on SS, 1LE, and ZL1.

1le is optioned as ss performance package so most salesman know it as that, not 1le.

I find it funny that they still say there is no such thing. All you gotta do is Google it and there it is.

The funny thing is, it is considered a SS performance package, but nearly all the official documentation still refers it as 1LE.
