I'm in the midst of putting a Spec Stage 3+ in my 2011 SS. She's in the air right now. Got a new RAM slave cylinder also. And I'll be isolating the clutch fluid and removing it from the brake reservoir.
I was assured by Spec that a stage 2 would hold the near 650 rwhp I'll be throwing at it. So I bought the Stage 3+ But I also don't race other than the occasional lesson that needs handed out. Mostly just cruise around making noise. I'll let you know what I think in a couple of weeks.

Well just hit the ground Saturday and although I have only put about 6 miles on her. I'll say that you'll want to start doing a little leg work at the gym before going with this one. I'm not 100% sure that this is clutch related only since I also went with a RAM slave cylinder. I'm confident that it will hold whatever I am able to throw at it. But I'm thinking this clutch May be more than I bargained for.
I'll give a bit more input after a few miles, but my experience says she ain't gonna get any easier to push!

Mine was quite a bit stiffer than stock. I don't mind as long as it holds the advertised torque rating

subscribed since I'll probably need a clutch swap by next summer. Was debating 2+ or 3, but I only drive the car for fun on the street on the weekends.

My friend recently installed a spec twin disc in his C5 Z06. Complained of the stiff pedal as well. He changed the master out to a 5/8 bore and pedal went back to stock feel. I have 5k miles now on my 5.5" Tilton triple disc (installed in January) and 30 passes at the drag strip on it. Love how this clutch wakes the car up. If you decide to use a non OE style hydraulic release bearing you will need new plumbing from the reservoir as well or get creative like we did and flare some -4 fittings and kept the quick coupler.

ugh, I'm not looking to get a workout simply to drive the car. I've read that Monster is much closer to a "stock" feel while still being able to handle the hp. Maybe I'll go that direction.
