Krusial's 2013 SS/RS
So I just bought a 2013 2SS/RS a couple weeks ago. Friend of mine introduced me to this site and I have to say, I'm amazed at the following behind the 5th gen camaro. So here's my baby bone stock from the dealer. I've never owned a car I cared to mod until now.
First few things I plan to do is replace the grill with an "Unpainted Heritage Grill", already ordered. This weekend, I'm taking my rims in to get sand blasted and powder coated black. (any thoughts on this, please share) I really like darker (black) rims. After the rims are taken care of, I'll be getting a 35% tint on the windows. Going to swap out the chrome tail light trim with some matte black ones. Not going to do anything heavy on performance mods until I get her broke in...too early to void any warranties I will however throw in a cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust. I'm seriously considering the Borla 'S' system. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading. Last edited by Krusial; 03-15-2013 at 03:26 AM. |

I definitely like the look. PM me a price. You're close enough, I may just bring it over and let you tint it too. After I get it back on wheels of course, haha.
My baby is on four jackstands while I get the wheels powdercoated. 3-5 day turn around...patience can be so difficult. I guess I'll spend the next few days cleaning it...hahaha. The 20" of snow we got is nearly melted away finally, so hopefully she'll stay clean for awhile this time. Last edited by Krusial; 03-15-2013 at 03:35 AM. |

Heritage Grill should get in tomorrow, perfect timing while I have the wheels off. Also, I just ordered the black bezels for the rear lights as well as a black out kit for the side markers.

Powder coating on the wheels and lugs are done. I'll get them mounted on Monday. Any suggestions for the center caps? The way I see it, I have three options...starting with the most expensive, have them color matched professionally, sand and spray paint myself, or try plastidip.
Here's some pics of the wheels unmounted. |

Very nice work on the wheels, congrats! On the caps, makes some calls to your local automotive paint stores and find one that can color match and put it an a rattle can for you.

Good idea, but I'm gonna try a cheaper route first...try and match it myself. They'd be impossible to ruin. If I can't match it, I'll just sand it and start over, haha.

Got the center caps sanded and sprayed. They are still drying. At this point, it looks very promising. I'll get some pics posted tomorrow with them installed.
