These are what I put on mine a couple years ago.. They work great and are a little cheaper. Definitely easier to heel and toe with them.

Hello. I bought a new set of ZL1 pedals and I am having trouble getting the brake and clutch pedals on. Is there a trick to it?

ZL1 pedals here for me too. There's no trick, just patience.

I'm thinking about a set of SRP Racing pedals (same ones as EmblemPros sells).

They are a bear.... I heated mine up in a 200 degree oven for about 10 minutes... I hooked the bottom edge on and worked them around. After few minutes and blistered finger tips I finally got 'em. Some have also used bar soap on the rubber.

Good Luck.

Do the metal pedal cause your foot to slip? It would seem so v.s the stock rubberish ones.

If they are built right, just the opposite. I had a set in my Vette and I actually had a problem with my shoe sticking to the pedals.
