Making a List and Checking it Twice.....

Seeing as how it works for Santa....it works for me too!

Just how many of you have gotten sonewhere and had a "DUH" moment because you forgot to bring something that you REALLY needed? and then had to either go out and buy ut, or borrow one.

I stated mine about a week ago......

Just a suggestion for everyone...... either using WORD, or any other text document....start a list of everything you want or need to bring on the trip. type it up and save it.....as things come to mind, add them to the list. As you read threads like "What do you need at the track" it may remind you of something you need on your list.....add it to your list.

The day your going to pack for the trip.....PRINT IT OUT. It makes a good CHECK OFF list to ensure you didn't forget anything.

All my stuff is already in the truck. might add the big air compressor at the last minute... haven't decided yet.

Full complement of tools, zip ties, spare wheels, tow straps, jumper cables, cameras, batteries, chargers, memory cards, music for the road, walkie talkies, etc.

Then again... I'm playing a support/recovery role on the trip there and back just in case something unexpected happens enroute.

The more stuff you need or want.....makes a check off list that much more important.

I carry most everything with me wherever I go already. I just have to check the garage and see if there is anything visible that should be in the truck.

might bring the sawzall too...hmmm

I usually start a list a few weeks ahead of time and continue to add to it as I think of things. Makes packing and loading day a breeze.

Like I said, most everything is already in the truck.

I'm currently working on a design template to chop my bed and utilize the space between the inside and outside for more storage space.

I could always do this

What was this thread about, oh yeah checking a list to make a list. Getting old does suck! I know I'll be 200 miles down the road when it comes to me as to what I forgot
