Actually those pics are very helpful, doesn't matter if V8 or V6.

So 1.0 front and 1.2 rear?

Your car looks great!

Thanks, and yeah, BMR mentioned something about the rear v6 struts being different and that's why they offer the 1.2" for the the v6. I was able to get the 1" v8 springs for the front though to help remove the "raked" look.

I'll have some pictures up tomorrow on the factory SS/RS wheels that should look a lot better.

So i started this thread some time ago and I ended up just doing the 1" all the way around for the time being. I did get a full 1" with the bmr springs and now that i did I do love the look just going that route. The rake is not as noticible dropping 1" f & r as I thought it would be. As for now this is the way it will stay.

BMR Springs? 1.4"/1"

PSJ, not BMR, but Pfadt...the color may help you decide. Note the splitter. With these I was barely and I mean BARELY by less than 1/4" clearance able to pull onto the Hunter alignment rack this morning. Sorry, kinda dark.

Thanks guys!!!

Colt, those tires stock size on those black 20's?

Claw, looks awesome.

RJames, also too.

Looks like 1.0 front and back can't go wrong but I'd still like a little lower in back.

I agree that 1" drop F & R will not level out the car. I am considering the 1" drop up front and the 1.4" BMR springs for my 1LE, but I'm concerned about ride quality since its mostly a street car. I've also considered Eibach progressive springs (claimed 1" drop f & r), hoping the ride quality would be better than linear springs. All the linear springs seem to be 210-230 LBS/inch vs 165 LBS/inch for stock.
It seems like the progressive would ride closer to stock, yet not likely to bottom out either.

I'd like to hear more regarding folks that have installed any of these springs specifically about ride quality. OEM springs are often set higher for many reasons such as crash worthiness, headlight height, liability for damage from clearance issues, etc...

The BMR springs are claimed to be "dual rate springs with a linear working rate", but I'm still trying to determine how thats different than a progressive rate spring.

I can't give you a comparison from BMR to another aftermarket company, just OEM. The ride is noticeably stiffer now, you can feel every dip/bump you hit, but IMO it feels much more like a sports car now. My car does have the original suspension and it's not a 1LE of course, so it was a lot "worse" to start with.

Looking for advice...I have a 2013 2LT RS and my goals:

Lower the car a little
Gain a little rake (I like the raked looked of slightly higher in the rear)
Soften the ride (the stock ride is a little stiff for me)
Cost is not an issue

Appreciate any input

I had lunch with a car guy yesterday, and he said "nice rake you got going there." That noticeable. :(

How long does it take to do springs with impact?
Here is a quick video on installing the lowering springs. I bought a set of Eibach springs and I want a level ride also.

If cost isn't an issue, then you would want to either go with coilovers or air ride. I don't have experience with either, but I'm sure someone will chime in about it.

As for the install time on the springs, the Camaro springs are not under too much pressure, therefor a spring compressor is not needed. The hardest part is reaching a few of the bolts. Make sure you get the tools recommended. After getting everything ready, it was about a 3 hour install for 2 of us.

Thanks again Colt on the info!!

I'll ask the BMR guys if they offer 1.2 [rear] that would fit on my car too.
