Carbon Fiber?

i was curious what a lot of you thought about carbon fiber accents on the new camaro?

i think this is like a german version of Jynx's Z28 concept:

heres a better pic of the hood which is mainly what i'd like people opinions on:

I EVEN stumbled on some carbon fiber cloth that reminded me of Pink:

I can't understand why anyone would want their car too look like Frankenstein. You know, various different colored pieces put together to form one car. That's what the carbon fiber hood looks like to me.

For the hood... why? its already aluminum.. the weight loss would be negligible for such a large amount of money..

As for other pieces.. the whole carbon fiber look has gotten dated.. especially when you see them on 4 cylinder (no turbo) Honda civics and the such..

i want to individualize mine, but i want it to be appealing to as many people as possible - not just myself

I was thinking the same thing. If you took the Cabon Fiber hood and painted it to match but left the hood buldge exposed or maybe leave the Rally Stripes exposed... same for a trunk and spolier.... I would at least like a nice CF fromt lip spolier.... I'm trying to get to SEMA to see whats coming....

You're going with red exterior/black stripes, right? Those cf pieces would def. make for good looking combo on that ride.

I was thinking black w/ Carbon Fiber stripes instead of flat black ones a'la Challenger, but I'm not sure how it'd look.

I was going to see if SLP or someone was going to come out with a center mounted quad exhaust like I used to have on my '00 SS. It looked awesome on my old car and I'm thinking it should look pretty cool on the new ones too. So I'll hold out for that since it should come with some body trim pieces for both sides of the rear.

Desighn your car the way you want, and to hell if any one does not like it. It is your car after all.
