rally yellow interior modifications? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I really want to bring the exterior color into the interior of the car. I know some owners have opted for the painted panels and dash trim pieces. I've seen the dash trim kits as well.
My issue with this full painted treatment is that I really like the ambient lighting on my door panels, and the one photo I've seen of a yellow painted panel with the ABL shows more green color than the cool blue.

Do you all think that the following would look good?

- Front dash left and right trim pieces painted rally yellow.
- Door panels remain gray with the unmodified ABL color showing through.
- To continue the color across the dash, pull the silver instrument cluster frame that surrounds the two large pods (part # 92240837) and paint it matching rally yellow.

What I would end up with, I think, is a fairly unbroken line of color across the dash, with enough of a breakup of a completely straight line with the cluster
painted.

I'm not sure if anyone has done this; I'd sure like to see pics if you have...
and I'd really like some feedback if you all think this would suck or not!

Yeh, I think yellow panels is a bit much. At most, am thinking of partial yellow for the seats -like in the original Toyota MR2s.
