Product Suggestions

Hey guys!

I'm pretty new to the detailing world and wanted to know what products you guys recommend. I realize that the concensus here is Adams but I want products that aren't Adams. I've tried some of their products, and although I like them, I want to try other things. I'm looking more for polishing product recommendations. I really like the Adam's car shampoo and detail spray so I probably won't change those. But polishing products I want to try

I'm already going to try blackfire products in the next few weeks so kinda excited lol

Not a problem here are some of products that will work for you if your using a machine.

BLACKFIRE Scratch Resistant Clear Compound

BLACKFIRE SRC Finishing Polish

Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0

Menzerna POS34a Power Gloss Compound

Menzerna PO83 "Super" Intensive Polish

Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA

Menzerna PO85rd Final Polish

Meguiar's Ultra Cut Compound M105

Meguiar's Ultra Fine Polish M205

And for pads these pads from Lake Country is what I recommend:

Lake Country 5 1/2 inch Flat Foam Pads

Lake Country Hydro-Tech 5 1/2 x 7/8 Inch Foam Pads

With the PC 7424XP and the right size backing plate.

Little curious here Autopia. In your review of the Optimum series, you mention how microfiber is more efficient with DA than foam is. Yet, none of those products get a mention here. I haven't tried my microfiber stuff yet, but I just find that strange. You make it sound like mf is the way of the future, and then recommend all foam pads and polishes.

It was Todd that mention it I recall, I always start folks in the foam pads so they can get use to polishing. Your right about the MF pads , but as everyone has a opinion I like folks to get the hang of it.
