ALMOST GOT A TICKET AGAIN....

Hi everyone... Well having a horrible week, AAC sent me the wrong replacment DRL lights and they will not send me the right ones till I sent the wrong ones they sent me back, so off to UPS I go, and on the way back I am coming up my hill at 35 and a local LEO pulls me over.... I am like what is going on, I really thought it was 35, he was like no its 25... Ok, I am wrong, so I go and get out my Military ID and he goes no need to see that... I am like here comes my first ticket since I can remember... for 10 over... well he takes my drivers liscense and goes in his car, and comes back and like you really need to slow down, I just wanted to make sure all your stuff was valid... as he is checking out my car the whole time he is talking to me and saying I should not hand out my ID since he already figured out I was military... and says slow down and have a good day... I really think he just wanted to see my car... I guess I am lucky as I am usally doing 70 up the hill around all the corners... Oh before someone says I am bashing LEO's I am not, have much respect for them... but he could have been cool and instead of "been there done that" he told me also..

no they dont reimburse shipping, my Side markers were went out replaced them, now my DRL went out and have to replace them but they sent me the reg P13 and not the plasma ones, so I have to pay again for shipping back to them. I got all my stuff fromt them at camaro fest II.

residential areas are all 25mph but doing 35 is fine. Kind of chicken of him to stop you. he must have been bored. Was it a local PD or CHP? glad you didnt get a ticket you probably wouldnt park next to me anymore

No it was local spring valley LEO, he was a douche.. after all said and done, he was also like I was not going to give you a ticket any way so no need to pull out my militarty ID.. Oh then he is like you dont have a CA drivers lisense, I am like no, the car is all registered in FL my Home of record, and I am military so I do not have to get the car registered in CA. If he was former military, how does he now know this stuff... Also once I did hand over my lisense he was like is this valid... I am like YES it is.. Starting to get a little heated.. Its only 10 over I am not robbing a bank...

I am having the worst couple of weeks.. this morning my Direct Tv box going bad, having issues with the new tires causing stability lights to all come on, hopfully getting that fixed tomorrow, and wrong AAC lights were shipped out, last week had to put the dog down, cant finish up my alignment since the new tires are wrong... what else is next...

I got pulled over on my way home from work at 3am, had cruise set at 70mph....CHP rolls up and turns lights on and I get pulled over...Officer walks up and asks...as they all do do you know how fast you were going...well ya I was driving....I tell him I was going 70 with cruise set he then laughs and says "No your were going 80mph"... I sat in my car for 35mins while him and his partner were looking at video they said they had of me flying but cars...so this joker steps back to my car and tells me that they think because my back tires are in his words "are bigger than the front" that my MPH reading must be wrong
At this point I just laugh and tell him so you going to give me a ticket or what...he looks at me and says no but to have the issue of my tires looked at....

hmmm he may be right if you went from 20 to 22 or somthing, if you have a GPS see if it matchs MPH or find one of those radars that on the side of the road that give you a reading of how fast you are going, I have one on base and check it out once in a while..

ACC is the worst.... I got some fog lights from them and only lasted 2 days..... ACC sucks!

I'm Sure AAC will make good on its stuff ..they have always treated me well ...My New Plasmas have been on since October and still good!!!

Nope wheels are what came with the car...he was trying to get me to cave and say yes....He was not on the side of the road just entered the FWY as I was passing the on ramp
