Fog Lights Faceoff Poll ZL1/Leno/Transformers
.
As I've read through many threads, it seems to me that there is a decided preference for one style over another, and while it may be too late to make a difference, it never hurts to let our preferences be known in a statistically definitive way. Here are pictures of the three main schools of thought, the current ZL1 styling from the prototypes, the Leno Style concept, and the Transformers 3 / Bumblebee Styling. There were a couple of other threads regarding the front fascia and grill preferences, (here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137065 ) (and here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143462 ) but I wanted opinions specifically on the fog lights styling. I do realize there is very little difference between the Leno & Transformers 3, but it never hurts to be specific. Vote Away !

Leno here, too. Although, the current design fills those large openings a little fuller. It would just be nice to see some LED technology in the lights. I still don't have much, if anything, to complain about wuth ZL1 now.

No complaints, just a preference. Little things like that might make the difference between an interested customer and a buyer. I want lots of ZL1 buyers because the sight of any Camaro on the road always makes me smile.

I voted Leno, but is i me or are the new T3 lights lifted straight from the Leno fascia?

I think they just changed the lens color & glossed it up a bit to match the Bumble.

Jay leno by far ... If I end up getting the ZL-1, my first mod (asap actually) would be to change out such ugly fog lights ... I want to put an LED strip in there
how does Jay Leno have better taste in cosmetics than General Motors however, it is important to note that the only FUNCTIONAL front fascia/splitter is on the ZL-1 as air is redirected to cool the brakes

Because Leno doesn't have a budget nor does he have to worry about keeping the MSRP of the car below $50,000

yes at this stage it is probably not cost effective to redesign them, but if they would have designed them nicer from the beginning, it would not affect the price ... im just thankful that its a plastic insert and not built into the painted fascia, this way modding will be hella in comparison

I'm not trying to start drama or anything. Just trying to point out that replacing cheap halogen fog lights with fancy LEDs would raise the ZL1's MSRP value. |

None of the above. I like the current SS lights.
