So I might have reached a potential solution, everybody.
Jurrian of ModBargains has offered to re-powdercoat my wheels COMPLETELY free of charge, but I don't have my stock wheels or anything else to use temporarily while they're off being re-coated. Does anybody else out there in SoCal have a set that I could temporarily borrow for a few weeks?

I'm shocked by the kindness of Jurrian. I am extremely grateful that genuinely nice people such as Jurrian and reputable vendors such as ModBargains are still out there!

I wouldn't let that stop me, sounds like it was just a unique situation. I've had matte black rims for 7 months and no problems! Also took it thru touch free car washes since then, still no issues.

Not a problem sir. Hopefully someone is kind enough to allow you to be on some stock wheels momentarily so I can get this done for you. I'm still on the lookout for something that might work temporarily for you, but maybe someone here local to us can chime in and offer a hand.

That is really awesome Jurrian! Props to you and Modbargains! That kind of thing is very rare!

Andys562 - If I was in Cali I'd let you use my stock wheels, they are just sitting in boxes, but unfortunately I'm about as far away in the US as you can get in FL.

Congrats on getting a solution form Jurrian!
