Supercharged "Isabelle" build thread by MrGood.

Well guys. This here is Isabelle. My 2LT/RS place of pure pleasure. I got her three days after thanksgiving of '09 and fell in love. It's taken me a long time to start modifying her but ever since then it's been a snowball and now i'm going FI. I hope you enjoy the thread.

Here are some pictures of before.

Here is where the modding started. My wheels started flaking so I powder coated them satin black.

After that I realized the black wheels needed set off. So I painted the front an rear bowties and scratched the red that was already flaking off of the rs badge.

After that it needed more black so I went to the local graphics shop and got 4 4"x2' strips of flat black vinyl to make fender hashes.

And then with extra I decided to make bowtie cutouts and cover those side markers.

I said to myself and I said. It needs more black. So after trying three sets of eBay hood spears I found the ones! But they needed a little more because they looked like glares on the hood. The 3.6L decals really gave them depth.

Still needs more! Grrr. So I plasti dipped the lip, Camaro badges, and taillight bezels. That did it on the black.

The rs and complete bowties are black now.

After this I added a spectre 9909 cai

And got a trifecta tune at Rx performance.

Then I got a 3/8" vmax black iceolater from Rx Performance As well as a plenum spacer and paint matched vmax cnc ported throttle body! Sure felt that one!

Picked up some used OBX racing long tube headers from a fellow member. Waiting forever on hps to ship them and them getting here sticking out all sides of the box nearly gave me a heart attack. These were a fun install..

Today 6.15.12 announced I am getting a Rx SC kit put on by Tracy and the guys at Rx Performance.

Update:6.21.12 took some pictures of the car torn apart with the intercooler and piping on

Also removed the rally sport badge and replaced it with a Rx Supercharged decal

Have thought about a zl1 bumper. But decided no way. Got a torque converter, meth kit, billet pulley, super chiller, exhaust system, ported intake manifold, drop springs, and sways to get before I consider any other cosmetic stuff. Only reason mine has what it does is cause the cheap paint on the wheels was flaking so I got them powder coated. The rest was DIY and cost like 35$ total.
