The LT1's remind me of some sort of insect... can't quite put my finger on which...

I always thought that the 94-97 models looked like cats (and I don't mean house cats... more like Jaguars or Panthers). The 98-02 models looked more like sharks because of the headlights and the change in the grille. I can't wait to get home and be there for the official launch. Thanks so much for the pics and the discourse. It's part of what keeps me sane over here in the big sandbox.

did you find any other angles of the car? i'd like to see what else was changed... looking at this pic i'm glad they changed it... the production version looks better to me. good thread cruel name though...

I always liked the look of the slim waste of that car. It would remind me of the 'Vette of that similar generation. I definately like the way GM has trimmed the over hangs on the front and rear ends. My friggin' '02 is as long as my '93 4Runner for cryin' out loud.

I think the production front bumper definately looked better than the proto' though.
