Apex Catch Can
EDIT: Got it sorted out. Will be keeping the catch can after all. Mods delete if necessary.
Decided I didn't want to run a catch can after all. Had it on the car for maybe 100 miles. Didn't get a drop of oil through it. Hose is cut to length for LS3. New hose could make it work for L99. Hose length should work for ZL1 as well. Asking 175 shipped. Last edited by dixonk; 10-08-2013 at 12:41 PM. |

Just Curious, why you would not want to run a Catch Can.....

The mounting location of this catch can didn't properly allow for me to use the stock airbox in conjunction with the factory oil separator. I am not happy with the fit and finish of other catch cans that are offered with alternative mounting solutions. I bought the Apex because is looks like something that comes from the factory and it's high quality which it really is. Just doesn't fit my needs which is to maintain factory powertrain.

No issue at all...best catch can available. Just not in a convenient location to use the stock air box along with the oil separator. Although I am debating on keeping the catch can and ditching the 1le seperator.

Is the issue that the 1LE oil separator has a hard-line hose? Because you can replace it for a flexible rubber hose if that's what the issue is.

Actually I got it sorted. Catch can is staying on the car. Thanks everyone.
