Has any one on here tried it? I might tackle it this winter. I have the ls out of my car and want to put it in a third gen. If it gose in a 3rd gen I want to find a 83 t-top

I have done an LS Swap, but it was in my '93 Chevrolet truck. I imagine getting it into a third gen will be fairly easy. Mine was a cake walk.

Cakewalk....especially if you buy an aftermarket K-member. If not, youll have to notch the stock subframe to clear the A/C compressor. Hawks third gen will have EVERY piece you need to do a successful swap.

You might want to peruse thirdgen.org as there are many who have done the swap.

I did it on my car and its a pretty easy swap as long as you got the parts that are needed.

I didnt need to notch my k-member as I welded solid mounts to the k-member 2 inches farther back and it clears with a few mm gap between the oil pan and k-member

If you need any info on it or questions just ask

I got my motor back and will start on it in a few months. Did you guys go the drive by wire or use the cable set up?

sounds like a cool project...DO IT!

ARH is making a lot of headers for various LS swaps...they might have you covered in the header/exhaust department.
