Angry HIT AND RUN

people just don't understand that you don't HIT A CAR AND THEN LEAVE ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A CAMARO!

So i was turning right into a gas station (turn signal ON) and out comes a car coming off of the highway SUPPOSED to be YIELDING and hits me riiggghhttt in the back of my car. i figured they would pull over but i was wrong.. my car was already off and they were gone.... didn't even get the plate because it was 11 on a saturday night.... couldn't see. HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO SOMEBODY? ANYWAY

:(:(

At least you weren't physically hurt.. It could have been worse.. If it were me and the person had stayed, I would have not gone thru insurance channels for something that small.. It'll cost you more in the long run as your insurance rates would go up eventually.. That is like a $500-$700 body shop fix..

2k at the lowest. Had that happen to the front clip of my 96 Monte (prior to it being handed over to my brother). Left front headlight, clip, emblem, bumper internals, new tire(popped from bumper stabbing it) = 3400 bucks.

My Exploders repair cost 2100 this past month, whole front fascia and both headlight/turn signal units replaced, fog lights replaced, brackets for all that replaced, towhooks realigned..

I love insurance though, they said that it was the busiest day for claims due to black ice up the wazoo in MI. So I didn't get a rate bump. Only issue was that the tards at the local ford dealership forgot to fasten down my airbox, and I had surging/stalling going on. Hometown dealership tested, and fixed it for free and explained it over a cup of coffee. Needless to say the Mechanics were "WTF'd" when they saw that. They were expecting a bad U-joint.

Gotta say, if it weren't for the new Camaro..I'd have gone to Kistler(kooldooddealership) for a 'Stang. o_o They're that cool with their customers. (the dodge/chrysler dealerships are Jeep fanboys..and hate the acronym MSRP)

That person must have really been booking it to make it away from me after something like that.
I would have flipped a $h17.
I'm really sorry about the car, though.

Also just saw that you stopped rather than chased. I would have called 911 and reported the hit and run while tailing him at a good distance. Give the cops a description of the area and your vehicle and request the following: USE OF DEADLY FORCE IS AUTHORIZED!

I have a similar story that happend to me yesterday yet still different. I was on my way to a friends to have some drinks, hang out etc. Decided not to drive to be safe so I was gonna ride my bike (bicycle) over there, haven't done that in a while. So I head off and I get a short distance from my house when I see a Honda CRV around the the street corner. They take the turn and are heading right into my path, I was able to swerve off at the last second, fell off and cut up my arms and legs pretty good. The car stops looks at me, some 60 year old women. She doesn't say one word and just drives off. I don't understand what is wrong with people these days. Luckily it was nothing major, just some cuts and bruises.

-the only thing about ME chasing is that i'm an 18 year old girl..... if it was a man and they tried to pull anything at all, i'd be screwed.

lol @ "USE OF DEADLY FORCE IS AUTHORIZED!"

i can't afford to get that fixed, nooo way in hell :(
