2013 camaro ss l99 bolt ons

I have a 2013 camaro ss l99 I just bought over the summer. I looking to add some things to it to get some more hp. I'm looking at tsp long tube headers, tsp cam shaft I believe it's the vvt 2.2 cam for the l99. I'm also looking at a new throttle body and intake manifold. I'm not sure on what throttle body to go with but for the intake manifold I'm looking at a holley sniper intake manifold. I already have a k&n cia. Of course after I get this done I'll be getting a custom tune done. Does anyone have any suggestions on this set-up?

Get the ported TB from Bowhite on here. Also check out the vvt cams from gpi, and delete the DOD...that will be a better option. You will also want to add a 3600 converter and transcooler

Don't blow money on the intake manifold. :P

GPI sells wicked cams for the L99s! And as mentioned above, you'll need/want a higher stall converter.

I forgot to add that I was looking at a new converter also. Texas speed claims a 100hp gain off of the cam. Is that not realistic at all?

GPI all the way
DOD/AFM delete, new lifters (heads have to come off). Talk with Aaron or Ryan. I trust them...

Ck out my build — WARNING — it’s VERY long, I’ve done a lot ;o)

how much $$$ you got? dynoSteve at RDP has a remote tune deal with SCT tuner...every mod you do should go with a tune...save the dyno tune when you go F/I or a MAJOR build...good luck OP.

you will see zero return on the manifold....and the most, get yours ported. Go with Bo White on the TB.

I'd go with the VVT 3.2 cam and AFM/DoD delete from Texas Speed.

Order the whole kit at once with springs, retainers, seals, etc: https://www.texas-speed.com/p-5771-n...-camshaft.aspx

See dyno chart:

Yep, the intake manifold won't do much for ya. I got a tune from dynosteve and have had zero issues. Seriously can't go wrong with dynosteve/RDP. I also have the texas speed headers and I did a write up on how to install them I can link you to. They are really well made. I have the LS3 but I hear that a tune on the l99 will wake it up a lot.

For the vvt 3.2 what torque converter would I need?

In defense of everyone saying don't change the manifold, here's an interesting article with dynos of a few different manifolds vs the stock manifold. For a NA setup seems like the stock suffices well.

I hear this one will work fine: http://circledspecialties.com/6l80e-hp-series-278mm

Can also get it here: https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4365-c...converter.aspx

VVT 3.2 will be best with 3200 stall

Circle D recommended a 3600 stall if going with a cam...

Right off TSP website: https://www.texas-speed.com/p-5771-n...-camshaft.aspx

Quote:
This camshaft will have a noticeable lope at idle and will drive well with a minimum stall speed torque converter of 3,200 RPM. This cam makes more power than the factory camshaft from 3,000 RPM all the way to the 6,600 RPM peak.

Cam Specs: 231/243, .649"/.629", 113 LSA
