One cool thing I saw on someone's video of an automatic V6, you can turn the lights on and off with the key fob (remote). I've never seen a car do that before, not sure if thats just with the auto and remote start (im guessing its on everything though). I think it was something like, tap the unlock button once and the lights come on, tap the lock button once and they turn off (headlights, not interior) I could be way off on the buttons though.

*edit - Found the thread I was talking about - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23541
I'm at work right now so I can't review the video to see what the buttons were for that. Someone else with less restrictions?

Bringing the thread back from the dead...

Here's one a lot of people have been wondering about. Saw it in another topic.

Previously, I read somwhere that if on the DIC you went to average fuel economy page and held the "set/clr" button as you drove you would see your fuel economy change in realtime. I tried it and found out you do not have to continue holding the button down, only until it beeps. Then you can release it and see your fuel economy change in realtime.

Here's the thread

I would love to be able to find an exact copy of one online. Would be great reading material for the 6 hour ride ahead of me in a few hours

That is on a lot of newer GM vehicles. If you hit the unlock on the remote, and the light sensor that controls the auto headlights sees that it is dark out, it will turn your lights on. When you hit lock, the lights stay on about 20-30 seconds to give you time to get in the house. If you live in a dark area, it is a great feature. It also helps you find your car at night in a parking lot.

The other cool feature is the lane change blinker. If you just tap the directional stick for either direction it will blink 3 or 4 times on it's own without having to hold it.
