How many of you would be interested in either coming early on Thursday and spending the day/evening there on Thursday (say 2-7pm), or would you want go to the park early (9am) on Friday and stay until about 3 pm to get back for when the party kicks off for SCCR II ?

Let me know your thoughts!
I'm interested. They'll be 3-4 people total with me so I'll get with them on this. Right now I dont know if i'll be leaving early Thursday morning or after work.

Thanks for putting this together!

How about Islands of Adventure right next door to Universal? IOA gives you roller coasters and Harry Potter (which I haven't seen yet since they added it), though really the only coaster I care about, and would spend all day on, would be what I always call Fire and Ice, aka Dueling Dragons, aka whatever they renamed it to since adding Harry Potter. Nothing beats Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa though. Another time perhaps.

Thursday would give you more time for your money and Friday would save a bit of vacation time so it's a toss up.

Actually the tickets are good for either park, or for $30 more we could do park hopper, but I personally think that's unnecessary. I'm an Islands of Adventure fan too, because I love the World of Harry Potter, and I'm a roller coaster junkie, and never have anybody to ride with me. :(

Either way you need to get here by Thursday...it's just a matter of leaving early on Thursday and spending the whole afternoon there, or being able to leave later on Thursday, and getting up in the morning.

Food for thought:

Thursday Afternoon (After 2 pass) -- $53.24
Friday Pass - $88.00 FL Resident rate/group rate

Is there any temporary storage areas in the Pensacola areas, I'm a Military guy here for training and I don't want to leave my camaro out to get damaged during this hurricane. I'm staying on NAS. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Crestview is high ground and far enough off the coast to take the edge off the cane. Supposed to be a cat 1 which is just a bloody big thunderstorm anyway.

Well if going nuts at IOA is in order and staying Thursday night is part of the plan regardless of which day (though I wouldn't put it past me to leave Tally at 5a to be in O-Town by 9 on Friday), I'd say $53 is cheaper than $88 and it being a Thursday, I'd wager it would be slightly less crowded too. Then you'd have the morning and lunch time Friday to do last minute detailing or whatever.

If nobody else, I'll be your ridin' buddy Regina.

If anyone is looking for a dyno locally...

I just got off the phone with Adams Automotive here in Crestview. They are installing their dyno next weekend! Prices are looking promising.

A quick google... plenty of options. Supposed to be a Cat 1 but could strengthen... or weaken. Won't know until it hits.

storage Pensacola
