Yeah that's right. I have iPod on glovebox and the USB in the center console is used for updates and changing splash screen

Theres a USB in the back of the kit. At least for the Alpine kit there is. The two kits are basically the same thing. Its going to be a pain getting to it so I hope a mandatory firmware update isn't coming out soon.

I know this thread is a little dated but maybe someone see's and can help me.
I cannot get my SWC's to work to save my life! I have sat in my car and waited the time, over and over again. Also my reverse camera is acting up, it goes to the picture like its suppose too but when I come out of reverse and go into gear it goes to the black screen that has the message about the viewing being reversed or distance or something and if I dont turn off the camera on my homescreen it will periodically go back to this screen while I am driving.. Anyone!?

Oh something important, my Headunit is the Pioneer AV-8400-BH.

Please help!

I am sorry, I am not intending to be rude but I honestly do not understand what you are saying.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but did Pioneer announce anything on an iPhone 5 cable accessory for this unit? I have the CD-IU51V, does anyone know if the Apple adapter will work with this?

During my install i noticed a coax cable cut in the group with the antennas (radio and xm) does anyone know what this was used for? is this prewired for the backup camera? I assume the factory cut this wire but unsure why

Can you post a picture of the wires? I have the Pioneer AVIC Z140BH. I do not have any cut wires. I not getting what you are talking about. IF I can see the pic of the wires I might able to tell what it is.

Stupid question because i probably already know the answer. But being that i live in north jersey it would be nice to know the outside air temp for the winter. Replacing the factory head unit will eliminate the OAT display. Is there any other options?

I am having issues to my kit being wired to a pioneer 1400dvd
It turned on for about 3 seconds and them went out. Neither the unit or kit are getting power but the ac is blowing. Is it possible something is wired wrong I had a left over pink wire with a white stripe and a yellow/black from the radio harness.. On the kit there was a brown, and a few others I didn't use.
You can also text me 4403911701
Chris

Thanks I really need to get this up and running.
