PENFED Credit Union Information

I visited their site and they seem to have great rates, for those who have applied for a camaro loan there i was wondering:
1. If you were denied or accepted
2. how much of the percentage of msrp was your loan for
3. what is your general credit score
4. did you get approved for the loan
5. at what percent were you approved

thanks you much in advance

I'll answer #5 for you: Penfed either accepts you or denies you -- they don't offer different rates for different levels of acceptance. So, assuming you're applying online for the loan if your application is accepted you'll get the 3.99% rate.

With that high of a credit score, I'd think you could get a loan anywhere you wanted, heh.

1. accepted
2. 30k
3. 750 score
4. yes
5. like dkikuchi said if accepted you get 3.9% for 0-60 months or less but 4.75% if higher than 60 months, which is what I chose.

Im having issues with them and securing a "payment saver loan". My problem is not the approval process, but the timeframe. They've been lousy at communicating what they need from me after I submitted and showed approved on their website.

I called them back 5 days after I submitted my application only to find out that the new camaros werent in their system for payment saver loans and that they couldnt give me loan. My car landed today so im really pissed, I applied over a week ago and was instantly approved, but still no loan paperwork. I have to call them back again this morning to give them one last try to get off their butts and get the loan paperwork out to me... if not, im going to finance with the dealer and they'll lose my business!

Thanks for this. PenFed denied me, but Chase pre-approved me with no problem. I may try CPM though since it's a cheaper rate
