Is this too many halos?

I enjoy messing around with lighting. I have a problem.

OK, now that that's out of the way... I installed new LED halos in my headlights, along with a smaller (80mm) halo in each headlight for that eagle/demon eye look. After that, I put 100mm halos into the ports where my fog lights used to be (I removed them and cut my own aluminum grill to allow air to my AEM intake).

I also put in the DRL harness to use these during the daytime. I'm pretty sure I like it, but part of me thinks this is maybe too much. Whatta ya think?

I think it looks fine. Now go do some mods to make the car faster. You get more bang for your buck every time you drive it.

I like what you did with the fog lights, cutting them out for air.

I think you need double halos on the fog openings for balance.

Wait do you really have your fogs cut out ? Can't tell if that's maybe just a illusion from the pic

I sure do! Got the aluminum mesh/grill material for a few bucks from Amazon. Cut it, painted it, sprayed it with rock chip guard. As for the old fog lights, i took them out, used a dremel to cut out the back of the housing, and put on a 4" to 3" black rubber pipe reducer (one for each side) from Home Depot over the back of the housing that was cut off which just gives it a cleaner look.

Here's a closeup picture I just took. I used the flash when I took this picture, so you can easily see some of the adhesive I used to hold the halo on, but when just looking at it during the day, the adhesive is near invisible. Crap now that's bugging me so I'll likely end up re-doing it. Anyways, I have the halo on there as well (100mm) which fits perfectly on the inner rim. I tinted the halo with Rustoleum Spray Tint just so it blends in with the black fog light bezel and black grill.

Nice! :-) Really like the idea with the fogs ... Impressive and original!
I don't recall seeing anything like it.

You beat me to the halo fog intake setup. I wanted to do exactly that for brake cooling or other auxiliary cooling.

I recommend it. I'm very happy with the way it came out. Here's a list of what I used:

Dremel
Metal snips
Paint (Satin black, clear)
Rock Chip preventer
Pigtail wire harness (to plug directly into the existing fog light harness)
100mm halo (ebay)
Aluminum mesh (I cut the circles to about 115mm - 120mm)
Black rubber 4" to 3" pipe reducer (home depot)
Silicone adhesive

Hope this helps
