Tough times delay the Camaro Convertible

What gives is they are in a trying time right now and some projects have been put on hold. Yes they have the Coupe already done and now gearing up to go but with times as hard as they are for GM right now a vert would not really be an economicaly sound idea to go with. They have delayed quite a few projects as of right now and if you do a lil search here on the forums you will find out. So just sit back and wait and as some have said "Keep the Faith"...

Was the Camaro designed as a convertible in the first place like the C6 Corvette?? GM was able to launch the 2005 C6 as a coupe and convertible at the same time as the C6 was designed as a convertible in the first place. Not a coupe that needed additional structural re-engineering etc.

Too bad GM had the $$$ to release a new HUMMER and not allocated resources to allow the Camaro coupe and contervible to be released at the same time.

Way to go GM, a new HUMMER is exactly what we need.

Yes, another Hummer would seem to be an an odd choice to introduce in these hard economic times. And yes, the Camaro was supposed designed from the early stages to be a convertible too, just like the C5 and C6 Corvettes, so I hope they get it back on track soon.
