Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy a good helmet for the dragstrip? any sponsors on here or maybe someone looking to sell theirs?

Do motorcycle shops carry Approved helmets? I know there are
Some motorcycle helmets that won't pass inspection.

Motorcycle helmets are not fire retardant. Snell specs for racing are different than motorcycle specs. Not to say a motorcycle shop won't sell an auto helmet, but any track that gives a crap won't let you use a motorcycle helmet. I use helmet city for my bike and racing helmets. Good people to deal with especially on returns.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. I didn't know if some motorcycle shops might also have snell rating approved helmets too?

I bought a nice bell snell rated 2010 helmet on Amazon for around 200. new
was suprised how nice it is.

HJC has some SNELL approved helmets. I got mine NIB from Ebay for $32 through auction. It was $69 if you used Buy it Now.
