Anyone have info on colored sub/amp enclosures?

I think I'd like enclosures on the sides leaving a good amount of trunk space.

But I don't want it in carpet, I'd like to have it colored(factory paint color).

Never done anything like this before....any info/ideas on how that is accomplished?

Thanks.

See if ******** will sell you an uncarpeted box and then see if you can find some good instructions on painting it yourself or take it too an auto body shop and let them match your cars paint and paint it for you.

What's under the carpet? Wood?

I think that would look weird painted? Idk...would you need some other material over the box to paint?

be careful with paint... the problem you will run into is, paint and "storage" areas do not go together well, things slide around and paint scratches easily.

Have you considered one of the various fiberglass enclosures on eBay

I love my ******** 10" side enclosure
I would buy it and have someone cover it in linoleum or glass and paint the visible sections, I just am very happy with the enclosure build. I owned custom stereo stores and I have seen very little I like in manufactured boxes.

Take a look at these I had made by A guy in Cullman Alabama. They turned out great.
