SS insurance

Are you paying a good rate for your SS?

For 10 yrs now i have had IDS property / casualty formerly AMEX insurance company. I love their service and the only time i did have a claim in 06' it was smooth as glass, picked any repair place i wanted. Cadillac dealer i picked. Claim paid no problem and my rate didn't go up one red cent. It was a vandalizm claim.

I just bought my 1SS Dec 31st. Dropped my CTS off the policy and added the 1SS. Was hoping it would not go up too awfully bad and i was happily shocked to find out it went up a whopping $0.50 per month over my 04' CTS.

I have full coverage obviously, uninsured motorist, 100k/300k 10k basic medical work loss coverage plus additional 20k with $250 collision coverage deductible and $500 comp deductible with towing and rental. This with a 26 mile one way to work daily

Total premium $579.96 Semi annual. about $96 per month.

I do have my wifes 2010 Chevy Traverse on the policy as well for almost exactly the same rate.

They do not accept anyone with poor credit or anyone with violations/ accidents in last 3 years nor anyone under 25 i believe.

Check them out if your paying alot more and meet their initial signup requirements. I love them.

That's a good rate your getting, I think I'm somewhere in that neighborhood in price myself. The unfortunate thing for us is, we get an extra stab on insurance due to hurricanes that we haven't had in forever ... Go figure ...

What's going to scare the hell out of me is our 16 year old gets her license in a week or two ...

Yea, I'm in NJ, 26, clean driving record with Allstate and I'm getting somewhere in the $600's semi annual. I'm not complaining.

25 years old, I was paying about 100 a month until I took some evasive/advanced driving course required for my job and they dropped me to 80.

You guys are lucky.

I am paying $188/mo just for myself, single 23yo male. I have nothing on my record. I am guessing it should drop down quite a bit once I hit 25!

Im with State Farm, whom Ive had life insurance with since I was a toddler. Currently 26 with a clean record. I have full coverage, liability, etc. Also a CDL holder. All told I am paying $408 bi-annually. Thats a hell of a difference from what some others quoted me, at one point Progressive tried to tell me $1200 bi-annually was a good deal, hell with that!
