New decal need advice
My boss gave me this same exact decal for the front side. My question is should I remove the chrome camaro sign to make the whole side vinyl like him. Or should I buy the chrome SS emblem which is on the back of any SS and put that below the camaro and only add the stripes. I need help I can't decide. My color is IOM if it makes a difference. These stripes are custom made so it is a one time shot. Here is a pick of my bosses SS so you can see the vinyl.

I dont like it all vinyl but I would black out the existing Camaro emblem and buy a black SS emblem to go under it if you want or just nix the SS all together.

Black out the emblems using Plastidip. It's easy to do and cost less the $10 in materials to do it. You can get everything you need at home depot. Spray can of the matte black cost me $6. Easy to do to. Takes 3 to 4 coats and you wait about 15 minutes between coats, then wait 2 hours to completely dry before removing tape. Instructional videos are on YouTube.
I did all my emblems, even the rear SS and bowtie, plus the Camaro and GM chick lets on the sides. |

It's his bosses car in the pic. Way to read the post
Anyway. If the stripes are black I say go with black camaro lettering and no SS badge. Just makes it too busy. I would say go with the SS badge instead of the camaro lettering but the lettering width matches the stripe width better

I say go all vinyl. It'll look weird with the flat stripe next to the protruding emblem. Flat stripes with flat vinyl "camaro SS" will look way cooler!

Yeah that is why my boss had the stripe made that way because he said it would look wierd with flat then the emblem sticking out.

I'd just remove the Dodge "hash stripes" and call it a day. That way it doesn't look like thousands of Chargers and Challengers...
