Project American Heroes III 1970 Chevelle

The Route 66 Motorsports Team is continuing to complete the Project American Heroes III. If you don’t know already, the official color of the Project American Heroes III 1970 Chevelle will be Black with a Red Stripe and Red Interior. We have Custom Billet Wheels from Boze and a GM performance LSA crate motor backed by a TCI 4L80E transmission.

We just installed our Flaming River Steering Column and finished up on the painting of the 1970 Chevelle. To see the restoration from the beginning and more pictures of progress we continue to make visit our website:

We want to thank everyone for all the support and the great sponsors for helping make this a one of a kind 1970 Chevelle.

I voted for the red color on Lateral-G. Im glad to see that it prevailed! That car will be as much of a knock-out as the 69 Camaro! Hats off to you fine people! Your commitment to our military and what they stand for is great to see. Hey what ever happened to that second generation Camaro you guys were building? It had a really unique look because of the handformed spoiler on the front and rear, also you made it look lower by adding metal to the bottom of the doors and fenders. Would love to see what this Camaro came out like! How about some pics?
