So what to do with banged up #230?

Been to the body shop and got paper work started for estimate and will be at insurance company on Monday. Do not have police report since that takes several days and do not if State Farm is going to want that before they work on the car or not. Planning on leaving for Fest Friday morning.

So should I let the body shop try to fix it and hope it is done for Friday, that is only maybe 3 full days to work on her. Or do I just bring her dented, maybe try to order one of those gaint bandaids on put on the boo boo and get her fixed after the Fest.

I know I want it done right and do not want to push them. Also have to get new side gills stripes for the repair.

What do you all think?

Bring it with damage....don't push them. Rubber from drag racing and autoX will help cover it up.

bring it as is. definitely want a quality job done with plenty of time. You'll be among friends, we'll feel your pain and no one's going to be bashing you for it!

I know the feeling..happen to me last year on our way to the Camaro Nationals.....Thank god it didn't show that much after I cleaned off the after effects.. But I don't think it should take more than 3 days to fix yours IMO... Like Timberline says with autoX it will help cover it up.

do not rush them, bring it dented. the stripes will never get there in time either. mine got keyed on the hood and door and it was weeks in and out of the shop trying to get the right color on. when they finally got the color right he ripped the stripe set. total nightmare. check their work thoroughly.

Drive it down dented, don't worry about the dents and scratches, come and enjoy the festival. Then get it fixed the right way afterwards. I hate for you that your Camaro got hurt :(

Sympathy (((((Hugs)))))

Sorry to hear about the damage bro. I am like you, want to bring a shiny car, but the rest are right, you want it done right, so come with her a bit bruised and have a good time. Worry about getting it done right when you get back.

I'm bringin mine dented. I got bumped in the rear bumper in the Mall parking Lot. grrrrrr!!! I was lookin for a Mall Security Cop (camera's??) 2 days after I noticed the damage. My dent is very minor, but still...

Sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches. So many dishonest people out there.
