The only other way to do it would be for dealers to have your credit card number on file if a customer never returned the core and then charge them.

In today's industry, the only way I (or any other companies hopefully if they are using the right software) will see or have a customers complete CC number is if they give it to me over the phone.

Otherwise, the POS software that most of use mask the majority of the information so that it's not in the wind and able to be stolen by anybody.

I've completely weighed out the options and short of keeping CC numbers of every TB customer or just "trusting" folks to return cores, it would be a tough pill to swallow when they don't return them.

In person of course it's simple since you're right there swapping one out...no core deposit needed.

So how far are ya from NM by the way??

I'm sure of it. They're literally a 8 minute job. It takes me longer to get a CC approval on my Note II than it does to install one.

Good times!

Skip, it is soooo easy to remove/replace the TB. If you can turn a wrench you can do it in 10 minutes, and that's going slow.

I have pulled and replaced mine several times.

If you want, you can swing up here and I'll help you, but you really don't need it!

I always follow a general rule: Don't cut anything unless completely sure what it is. It has been working for me for years. Anyone can handle a TB install.
