Interesting test on swaybars
Took my 2011 SS in for an oil change to the dealership where I had my Pfadt swaybars installed. The service rep told another rep that I had the swaybars, took him over to a stock 2011 SS and said rock it sideways. It moved pretty easily. Then he had the guy try it on mine. It didn't budge. It's amazing how much aftermarket swaybars stiffen up the suspension.

A good set of sway bars makes a huge change in the personality of these cars. They are definitely one of the biggest bang for your buck suspension upgrades.

How much could someone be expected to pay for these sway bars?

What would be the recommended parts list if one were to do this? I see parts priced from $285 up to thousands of dollars.

You can get as serious as you would like with our suspension kits. They grow with our customers. We can provide you with everything from sway bars, to drop springs, to full on suspension packages that work as well on the street as they do the track. You can find more information on our products at http://www.pfadtracing.com
To answer your question specifically, you do not need any other modifications to make a set of sway bars work. If we could only pick one modification to the 5th Generation Camaro it would be a set of sway bars. They really do make the car feel much more fun! |

I paid $169 for the pair on mine BUT it was the C5F1 sale. You're probably looking about $400 and install is cake.

Sways are roughtly $400 and springs are around $300. This is why I always advise people to look at the package deals. You can grab a Pfadt stage II package that has springs and sways for $600.
