Great to hear of this resolution! Good luck to y'all and your new zl1!

Granted it could have gone much faster, I think the time frame of months was pretty fast considering the complexity of the issue!

Given the mass of this thread nearly took it from 'bright star' to 'black hole', great timing!

Glad it was worked out to your satisfaction Hoop. Thanks to all involved in the resolution of a most unfortunate situation. And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.....
Will this modification void my new warranty?

Can someone with an account at yellowbullet post an update there?

http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=644226

We should at least make attempts to call off the dogs.
I tweeted and fb'd an update myself...

Of course, I'm here to help. See, the Volt is a very efficient vehicle. It's so efficient that no other current Chevrolet comes close to that efficiency except the ZL1. How do I figure, the ZL1 gets pretty close to damn near the most amount of power out of a gallon of gas that can be gotten, see, efficiency.

Practice in the mirror before you explain it to your wife, and don't forget the diamond necklace.

Just saw the used ZL1 at First State Chevy they were trying to pass off. Tires were changed because it's Certified. That's a matter of course when going through the cert process if they are below 6/32" tread. The $50K they are asking for it is a joke though and I def would have passed on it too.

Damn. Screwed two ways to Sunday. See:
1) I can't get the ZL1 if I get her a diamond necklace
2) No way in HELL I can say that with a straight face

Nick, you guys make anything for a 2013 Volt? I have a Volt Premium, all options just in case you need to know...

I'll buy stuff from ya just BECAUSE you're making that offer! Can't really buy a CAI for my Volt, which has an 84HP 4cyl driving a generator! And I can't fathom buying handling components for it either!

PM me with what ya got.

Cheers!

No kidding haha.

As soon as they fired that baby up they were responsible.
Management let the service writer in on the excuse of getting a phone charger, a freaking phone charger!! Management at that dealership owns this 100%, all the way!

I'm not concerned - we've already had a GMer say GM is involved, as did the OP. GM isn't dropping the ball on this one...

Now it's just waiting for the super-slow wheels to turn.

Personally, if I were GM + Dealer, I'd get the car into 1st State, and spot it to Hoop to get him in it as fast as possible. They spot on new deals, they can spot on this one. Good will and all...

"Efficiency is made up of money spent while driving and time spent while driving. The zl1 is several times faster than the volt. Time is money. Your time is more valuable than money. Priceless in fact. Also, the camaro has 5 star crash ratings all around. It's a tank. Way safer than the volt. The zl1 is superc... super cool. Soooo I got you this super efficient and safe zl1. Because your time and safety are priceless to me. *kiss* *hand keys* *walk away*"
