New ZL1 Day!!!!!!
Never thought I would be typing that title!!!!! Picked up my dream car today.....ashen grey M6. Traded my trusty 2010 IOM 2SS for it without even thinking twice (as well as selling one of my beloved Les Pauls for down payment funds). The car is a beast.....I always thought my SS was a beast of a car but the ZL1 just feels angry and pissed off at the world and ready to prove it. My buddy has a 2012 GT500 which is an amazing car in its own right (which I have driven) but the ZL1 has twice the feel and feedback plus the blower sings it's sweet music at a much more audible level than the Mustangs.
So with that being said any advice to a new owner? Things to watch out for? The only option my car didn't include which I regret not having is the exposed carbon fiber hood insert. First mod will be blacked out emblems and a RotoFab intake. Thanks and super happy to be a member of the ZL1 club!!!! Michael |

I had to do the same thing..lol traded my 2SS for the zl1 and sold my PRS custom 24 as holding payment... kept my tom murphy 59 les paul though...lol Congrats on the car...post some pics when you get the chance...

Congrats! I remember the feeling the day I picked mine up, awesome, close to the feeling everyday I get to pull her out of the garage for a drive! Enjoy! Do need pics though.
