so pissed off at myself i door ding some one

im parking 30min ago here at work, and slowly open my door and for some reason i dont grab it and it just opens right into a red honda 4 door maybe a 2004 or so. thank god it didnt mess up my paint but it did leave 1/4 of a inch impression on their door. i left a sticky with my name and number.

its funny how ive been worrying about other people doing it to my car and i end up being the one who dings lol.

any estimates on repair cost?

if it didn't crack the paint I'd say around 50/75 bucks tops.

I sure hope when that happens to me that it's someone as nice as you. Good job buddy!

that sucks!....

cost shouldnt be to much, i think all they will have to do is to suck out the ding and buff out the paint....

I'm guess less than $100......imo

But you left a sticky so your cool. As far as estimates hard to guess. Probably let you insurance adjuster deal with it and not worry.

Yeah, if it didn't break the paint a paintless dent repair can be done. Depending on where it's at and the size it's about $75 - 150. Somebody got my HHR SS the other day and didn't leave a note. It cost me $145. But you couldn't even tell it ever happened.

Try to pay for it yourself and not go through your insurance company. In ct we have "dent Wizard" that pushes out minor dents without paint. A body shop will want to spot repair & refinish and it could cost you $300.00+. Good luck and its nice you left a note.

Pay out of pocket for sure if its under $500. Doing that will save you at least $500 in insurance premiums in the next year.
