Cleaning Windows

Windex Auto Glass Cleaner (NO AMMONIA!)
(works great as a Cologne, too! )
Old, worn out 100% COTTON T-Shirts

now here's the real tip:
A Shower Squeegee (Target)
Aside from the usual use, I put the T-Shirt on it and I can get into the really narrow part between the Window and the Dash, front and back.

Try to avoid the 'gloss' ads, as well as any color pages like the front page or sunday funnies. Plain black and white uncirculated newspaper works great.

When I was a full time cusodian at a GM dealership before I retired we had this couple come in twice a year and clean all the dealership glass inside and out. When they got done it just sparkled. They got like two grand for cleaning them each time. They used a bucket of something liquid, sponge and a squeegee. One day I asked one of them what they used that worked so well. The guy said he only always uses Lemon Joy Dish Soap. I said your kidding!! He said you just put enough in your bucket of water so that after you wash the window with the sponge that the squeegee feels slick when ran across it. He said you only need a few drops to a bucket of water. But he did say that it doesn't work as good if your not using a squeegee to clean it off the glass. Sure enough I mixed a little in a squirt bottle and tried it on a window and it just sparkled. The salesmen couldn't get over it. How such an inexpensive thing worked so well. I know this isn't practical to squeegee car windows but a good FYI for home.
