anybody running a camaro with 22"?

I'd like to use this wheel and tire combo but am concerned of performance and ride quality.
Anyone have a set of 22s on their car?

Jason, the ride will be fine with 22's as you learned today! These cars have much more advanced suspension systems than musclecars of yore.

Thanks

Derek. Thanks for all of your help with my wheel order and the great price on the Pirelli's.

My brother also confirmed the ride quality with a drive today in another Camaro with 22's.

Can't wait to get my car together. Ordered today!

order

Ordering D2Forged VS1 22" with Pirelli PZero Nero's. Basically the rims on this car...I think they are extremely classy and beautiful.

Foxman, should have my VS1's on my car at the end of next week after LMR gets done with the build. I will post some pic's. Me and "the Rich Dude" also think these wheels are extremely nice.

Great photography! Do you have a link to who took the photos? (Sorry if it's posted, I didn't read the entire thread)

fastners

I'm not sure if I want to order the rims with the fastners or not. Any opinions are appreciated.

Rich Dude and I both ordered with hidden fasteners. I think it looks better but they both look good. Derrick says they look better hidden. I will let you know next week when I see them in person.

Wheels

I'm pretty sure that's what I'll do as well. I look forward to seeing the pics when you guys get your cars.

Have either of you rode in a camaro with 22s? From what I understand the ride quality is still pretty good even with 22s. My brother who is a builder rode in a camaro with stock suspension and 22s on it yesterday and said the ride quality was good.

I'm going to track my car with the factory 20s occasionally and will have the pedders Extreme street suspension upgrade. I'm a little concerned of ride quality with this suspension upgrade and these wheels but I'm pretty convinced from my research that I'll be happy with the ride.

Any of your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

I rode in a car with 22's that LMR did with the same engine package that I am getting and it rode just fine. I am getting the full Pfadt bars and coilovers and am not too worried about the ride. I am sure a stocker will ride a little better but not much more so.

Happy Thanksgiving
