I'm facing the same problem, new cars have to be inspected on the 5th year and so on ..
I can't believe there is no such item or a silencer that can tackle the issue !! |

Check out Dynomax VT mufflers. Near stock quiet on startup and cruising, get on it and a valve in the muffler opens creating a straight thru badass exhaust!
