What was his asking price?

Again, he probably couldn't sell it for one reason or another. From the description, he sounds like the second owner and probably had to make room for something else (knowing people like that.. XD). I honestly have no idea though. I just wish I had the money for insurance, as this is starting to look even more out of reach.

Yes, at $3990, the insurance is what's killing me. Thank you Michigan job economy..

Rider would have full coverage. Not going to chance it with liability only.
Thing that sucks is that I'm only going to be a rider for the next 8-10 months until I graduate. -_-

And yes, I am starting to feel like a whiney man child that still lives with his parents.. Even though I don't, and they pretty much wanted to help pay for my schooling and don't mind at all. They just..happen to hold the reins on everything at the moment. >_<

liability might not be a bad gamble if you buy the car for 3500; if full coverage is that expensive it might not be worth it to protect 3500 worth of assets, especially if the full coverage cost is 3K a year... 1K is a different story, that might be worth it, but with older used cars i personally just do liability

Bad News: I've given up on the T/A ;_;

Good News: I have full cosigning benefits as promised in writing from my parents for a 2010 1SS RJT Camaro. Which means I win..

Their/my rationale for this decision: I saw the bill.. shat brix and saw what they were whining about. No way in hell it would have worked even if I could have done it. Also..a little fortune cookie helped in the decision as well. Nuff said, condolences for the failure, then voluntary thread lock if the Mods wish it.

TL;DR: Sucks, but I'm going to hold out a little longer for the Camaro after a peptalk and the cosigning agreement.
